EXHIBITION CURATORS
Brett Piva, artist and director of Onwards Gallery, and Andrew Forrer, a photographer and teacher have collaborated for the first time to co-curate EVERYDAY SEENS.
The exhibition has brought together a group of diverse photographers whose work documents their environment as they experience it. Each approaches and “sees” the world around them differently, but all interact with their surroundings to create a unique vision of the ordinary, sublime, mundane, humorous or mysterious everyday. The resulting assemblage of images are an accessible collection that will engage a wide-ranging audience. Repeat viewings will be rewarded as the (often subtle) connections between the images start to come into focus.
