Holly Leonardson

Holly Leonardson is a visual artist currently residing in Newcastle, NSW.
She creates joyous, light-hearted yet detailed works spanning paper collage, small sculptural objects and jewellery. Guided by playful material-led process and experimentation, Holly responds to ideas and themes surrounding craft and acts of making, collecting, adornment, friendship and the domestic and natural world. She considers the collage and assemblage process as being fundamental to her way of working and thinking, and draws from her collection of vintage books, found objects and craft materials.
